As soon as possible! I only take a handful of bookings each month so I suggest booking as soon as you have your event date. However I do keep a few extra open spots for last minute events such as funerals and memorials.
* Please note: A late booking fee will be applied to any orders placed less than one week or after the event. The fee will be $40 for 3-6 days prior to event, $60 for 1-2 days prior or after the event.

The sooner the better! For best results, I recommend dropping off your bouquet no more than 72 hours after your event.

Not to worry! Contact me through email and I can send you instructions on how to dry your flowers yourself to send them to me at a later date.

Although I prefer having an array of blooms and greenery to work with to give us the most options when designing, we understand that sometimes you only have a handful of flowers from your event. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Taking good care of your bouquet during and after your event helps for a better floral preservation outcome. Flowers bruise easily, and although some of this is caused by handling the flowers by the florist and other hands, I recommend being very gentle with your bouquet. Keep your bouquet in water and out of the hot sun as much as possible. Bruising cannot be noticed until it is already in resin. Overall this just adds to the unique look of your keepsakes.
-
Absolutely! Using photos we can recreate your bouquet. I can sometimes pull from my current stock of dried flowers, or use a local florist to get fresh blooms.
* Customer is responsible for cost of flowers.

Turnaround time for orders can vary depending on the time of year, the complexity of your order, and how many other orders I am working on. Floral preservation is a highly detailed process and can take some time to be completed. Larger pieces and orders can take 6-8 months where as smaller ones can be 3-6 months.

I use a high quality resin that includes UV blocked technology, however it is totally normal for some yellowing to occur over time. I recommend keeping you piece out of direct sunlight and away from high temperatures to minimize yellowing and fading of your flowers.

Absolutely not. Events like weddings and funerals just the most common reasons people seek out floral preservation. But I'm happy to take on other custom work as well. Just reach out to me and we can chat about your specific project.
Others Tips for Success
Taking extra care of your bouquet will help ensure the best possible outcome come resin time.
Avoid touching your flowers and throwing your bouquet. Flowers bruise easily, and while some of this is unavoidable, it is best to handle them gently and with care. Bruising cannot be seen until they are covered in resin. And just adds to the overall uniqueness of your pieces.
Keep the flower stems in fresh water as much as possible before, during, and after your event.
Keep your bouquet out direct sunlight and away from heat sources as much as possible.
Do NOT place flowers in a fridge or freezer. Doing so make your flowers impossible to preserve.
Do NOT wrap your flowers in plastic. This can create additional heat and cause your flowers to wilt and rot.
Not all flowers will dry the same…Red/deep coloured flowers will dry darker. White flowers become more of an ivory/cream colour. And some flowers just simply don’t survive the drying process. If you have any questions about your flowers, please reach out!
Delegate drop off to a trusted bridesmaid or loved one. One thing you don’t have to worry about after your big day!
